It is with great sorrow that I bring you the news of the passing
of my dad, Jim Brown,
on Tuesday 1/29/08 at the age of 81, in Puyallup Washington.
My dad had been involved with drag racing for over 60 years.
He got me hooked on drag racing at a young age and taught me so much.
My dad and I, along with our partner Mike Padur, ran a dragster with
the Association for several years.
"I will truely miss you Dad"
It is with sadness that I bring you the news of the passing
of a friend, and fellow racer Lon Russell, on Wednesday 1/16/08 at the
age of 66, in Vancouver Washington.
Lon was the owner of the "Retirement Funds" Injected Nitro
front engine dragster, which ran with our Association.
"Rest in Peace Lon"
Long time Association member and fellow race John Tusa, passed away on Friday 10/27/06 at the age of 59 in Seattle, Washington.
John, Dick Kalivoda, Caroline Mattews along with Dick's son Brady driving,raced an injected nitro dragster with our Association for several years, winning many races.
John will be truely missed.
